Sebastian Vettel will make his return to the Interlagos paddock this weekend to attend the Brazilian Grand Prix.
The São Paulo GP’s Instagram page has confirmed that the four-time world champion will be at the circuit on Saturday, November 8, in the fan zone, giving Brazilian fans a chance to meet him after a long absence from the paddock.
This will be his first appearance in the F1 paddock since the Saudi Arabian GP, when the German, who hung up his helmet three years ago, hosted his grassroots karting programme Race4Women [Challenge Me] for female drivers at the Jeddah circuit.
The former driver had also attended other races in previous years, including Suzuka, where he supported 'Buzzin Corner', an environmental initiative alongside other F1 drivers. In recent months, there had been speculation about a possible racing comeback for Vettel, but for now, he has chosen to decline in order to focus on his personal initiatives.

As Interlagos approaches, the F1 championship battle enters a thrilling new phase following Lando Norris’s commanding display in Mexico. The British driver put on a masterclass at the Hermanos Rodríguez circuit, storming to victory with a jaw-dropping 30-second lead over Charles Leclerc — the biggest winning margin of the season so far.
Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri faced another challenging weekend, missing out on the podium and seeing his championship advantage shrink as Max Verstappen relentlessly closes in. The Brazilian weekend will also see the return of the sprint format, marking the penultimate sprint round of the season alongside Qatar.
