Christian Horner had to pack his things immediately at Red Bull. The team principal was sent away after twenty years of loyal service. Flavio Briatore offered the British man a word of encouragement.
Flavio Briatore and Christian Horner have known each other for a long time. During the twenty years that Horner was at Red Bull, he saw Briatore leave but also return. Following a scandal, the Italian was initially banned from the sport, but he has now returned as an advisor at Alpine.
On Instagram, Briatore offers Horner some encouragement. "20 years at the top says it all. A competitor on the track, but also a friend off track. Well done on your achievements @christianhorner at @redbullracing, and wishing you all the best on your next adventure. Forza Christian!"

On Wednesday morning, it was announced that Horner had to leave Red Bull after twenty years. The team principal communicated this news himself at the factory of the Austrian racing team. According to Sky Sports analysts, it was a very emotional story.
Meanwhile, responses to the news are pouring in. Max Verstappen's website has responded, just like Giedo van der Garde. The Austrian racing team has also responded. Initially, there was quite a bit of radio silence on the team's social media channels.
