Christian Horner has for the first time responded to his dismissal from Red Bull Racing. He did so, talking to Martin Brundle, former Formula 1 driver and Sky Sports F1 analyst. Brundle revealed what Horner had said on Wednesday.
After internal consultation, Red Bull GmbH decided to sideline Horner. Undoubtedly, internal unrest and disappointing results played a role in this decision. But in an initial response, Horner states he is unaware of why he has to leave.

Martin Brundle of Sky Sports F1 said immediately after the announcement in an interview with Sky Sports News that Horner had told him there was 'no reason given' for his departure. Moreover, the statement from Red Bull GmbH also did not mention a reason for the dismissal.
