The Grand Prix of Canada was disappointing to say the least, and F1 sporting director Ross Brawn has said that races like these are bad for the Formula One as a sport in terms of entertainment.
When talking to Speedweek, Brawn did explain that not every race can be great.
"Some races are exciting, other races were boring," he explained.
"It will be the same during the World Cup of football - it's normal that some races are more boring than others."
However, fundamentally, things should change, as things are too formulaic now.

"The F1 needs to be more unpredictable," the former team owner expanded.
"We want spectacle and unpredictability, and that can only happen when the field is more balanced.
"Canada is a good example of how things shouldn't go.
"The top three was separated from the rest and Nico Hulkenberg, who was 'best of the rest', was lapped.
"We've seen that a few times already this year and that's not good for the sport."

How does Brawn want to solve this?
"We want to make sure that talent and skill have a more prominent role than the financial means of a team.
"That's what we're working on right now."
