Ferrari hopes to keep up the fight for the world title until the end of the season. However, the Italian team needs a good performing
Charles Leclerc and
Carlos Sainz. According to Gerhard Berger, the duo could cause problems, he told
Speedweek.com.
 Whereas
Max Verstappen and
Sergio Perez have a clear division of roles at
Red Bull Racing, it is seemingly different at
Ferrari. The level of Leclerc and Sainz seems to be fairly close, so both drivers seem willing to go to the limit.
Ferrari is at a disadvantage compared to Red Bull
During the current racing year, however, Leclerc seems to be preferred to Sainz. The Monegasque scored no less than two wins in the first four races, which means he is still on top in the world championship. However, it does not seem to be a reason for Sainz to give up for the time being.
"Sainz still has ambitions and wants to fight for the first spot at Ferrari," Berger analyzed the situation at Ferrari. "But it's not working for him, although he can do little about it. Ferrari could have a problem with that. Sainz will not be ready to be number two."
