Kimi Antonelli has reflected on the moments he found most rewarding during his debut season in Formula 1. “There have been so many beautiful moments.”
- Kimi AntonelliThe young Italian driver, who completed his rookie season in Formula 1 with multiple podium finishes, spotlighted several moments from his debut campaign. Among them was his drive at the
Las Vegas Grand Prix, where he drove on a set of tyres for over 50 laps.
“There have been so many beautiful moments. The first weekend in Melbourne was special: on the grid before the start, I realised my dream was coming true,” Antonelli said via Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Then came my first pole position in Miami in the Sprint, my first podium in Canada, but also Brazil with a second place, and I'd add Las Vegas because there I felt for the first time able to approach a race following only my instincts, almost as if everything else didn't exist,” Antonelli concluded.

The 2025 season for Antonelli was nothing short of a rollercoaster. While the 19-year-old had early highs during the campaign, he also experienced a mid-season dip in form where he struggled to rack up points-scoring finishes.
Antonelli, however, completed the season with a much stronger showing, recording podiums in two of the last four races.
Antonelli backs Wolff's 2026 claim
The Italian driver expressed his belief that the changes set to be introduced next season will see
F1 tilt more in favour of younger drivers, as earlier claimed by Wolff.
