De Vries 'curious' about IndyCar

Nyck de Vries hoped for a switch to Formula 1, but in the end that did not happen. De Vries curious about experience

"Of course I want to do that. You hear so many different stories about it, so I want to experience it for myself. How that car feels. How the culture is there, the whole setting around it. I am very curious about it", he says. Whether a move to the United States is a serious option? "I want to experience what that world is like first. How I'm going to find it."

De Vries became Formula E world champion with Mercedes in 2021, but the German formation is stepping out of the electric class after next season. After next year, De Vries will have to look for a new challenge anyway, but it is also possible that he will leave his current employer early.
