Qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix is over and that means we can take a look at the qualifying duels again. Max VerstappenLewis Hamilton and Lando Norris are examples of drivers who performed what they did for most of 2021, while Pierre Gasly is still flawless.

In 20 Grands Prix Yuki Tsunoda, the Japanese driver making his debut at the highest level this year, has never beaten his French team mate. Fernando Alonso managed to equal the score with Esteban Ocon at the Losail International Circuit. Both drivers have been quicker ten times so far this season.

Carlos Sainz managed to narrow the gap to Charles Leclerc to 8-12, but with two races to go it's already certain that the Spaniard, who drives for Ferrari for the first time this season, won't be able to beat his teammate. Only Alpine are yet to find a winner for 2021, with every other dual decided.
