Red Bull Racing applied a new floor at the Tuscan Grand Prix. This would have yielded the RB16 of Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon one and a half tenths. This is what Mark Hughes writes in his column.
"The loss of Verstappen was a blow because this season he was closer than ever to the Mercedes. The RB16 had a new floor here, worth a simulated 0.15s," according to the renowned F1 journalist at The Race.
Mercedes has a rule of thumb that the RB16 is three tenths closer on Sunday than during qualifying.

Red Bull strong in the third sector

Red Bull drove with a larger rear wing than Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. "Making up through the final sector what it lost down the long pit straight. It would have been fascinating to have seen what Verstappen could have done with it," said Hughes.
