Alexander Albon had to wait a while for it, but at Mugello it finally happened for the Red Bull Racing driver. The Thai star took his first ever F1 podium and with that he is very satisfied.
"Obviously took a while to get here," laughs Albon after the Tuscany Grand Prix. "It was a tough one. I had to work for it."
The 24-year-old driver hopes to return to the podium more often. "I can breathe, it feels nice to be here," says Albon.

Albon had to fight for it

During the restart not everything went smoothly with the RB16 of the talented driver. "We just didn't get off the line [at the starts] so most of the overtakes had to be done on the circuit. Our car is good on the brakes, we've known that since day one," he looks back with satisfaction on his Sunday.
