Lewis Hamilton is happy after winning the Tuscan Grand Prix. The Briton outsmarted teammate Valtteri Bottas at the first restart and didn't give up the lead. Hamilton also took the fastest lap of the race, scoring the maximum 26 points.
"It was all a bit of a daze. It was like three races in one day. It was incredibly tough today, obviously with a difficult start. This track is phenonmenal. Obviously the heat and keeping Valtteri Bottas, who has been quick all weekend, was not easy and I was behind in the beginning. All those restarts, the focus that's needed during that time, it's really, really hard," Hamilton said after the race.

Keeping the distance to Bottas

"In the first stint I had to manage my tyres and I didn't have to stop. Then at the last stint after the restart I was on the softs with Valtteri right behind me. He came out of nowhere. It was important that I stayed one second ahead of Valtteri because of the long straight and the DRS," the Mercedes driver continues.
"My heart is racing. It's bizarre to be here and have won 90 Grands Prix," the six-time world champion concludes.
