The doubleheader F1 race weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Austria is an important test, not only for Formula 1 itself but for all global sports. The whole world will focus its spotlight on the sport if things go wrong here with a COVID-19 infection.

Red Bull Ring corona-free not only important for Formula 1

On the other hand, two full race weekends without contamination is also the signal to other events that things will be possible in 2020. In order to achieve this, F1 stops at nothing.
Last week (from Friday 3 July to Thursday 9 July) no less than 4566 coronavirus tests were conducted. There were no positive results and hopefully things will be the same this weekend as everyone is living in a 'healthy' bubble.
