"We extracted the maximum" - Leclerc

So, another Q3 appearance for Charles Leclerc. This boy is already looking like a fantastic acquisition for Ferrari as he qualified P9 for the American Grand Prix.

The Monegasque driver says that he got the most out of the car once again as he made the top 10 shootout, something he has made a regularity since the first few rounds of the campaign.

Leclerc is the first driver with only a year’s F1 experience to join Ferrari for many years and with the wonders he is pulling off with Sauber, it’s obvious to see why.

After his exceptional qualifying performance, the youngster revealed that he maximised the potential of the car in Q3.

He said: "I am satisfied with the way the day went. Finishing in Q3 is always great, and I am convinced that we extracted the maximum of our potential – especially in Q2 and Q3 today.
