Moto3 Results: Malaysia's Hakim Danish claims stunning first win in Brno

The Brno circuit once again delivered a thrilling Moto3 race as six different riders all battled for the win.
Championship leader Maximo Quiles led the early laps and was clearly trying to control the pace early on. However, the likes of David Almansa, Brian Uriarte and Alvaro Carpe had other ideas. Veda Pratama and Hakim Danish also managed to break away with the lead group.
Despite the best efforts of Quiles to keep the group behind, the fireworks eventually exploded on the final lap. Danish capitalized on a tense duel between Uriarte and Quiles to claim his first win in the Moto3 class and mark a historic day for Malaysia.
Danish, who had originally started the race from all the way back in 14th on the grid, fought valiantly and remained composed under immense pressure, particularly on the final lap. In doing so, he becomes the first Malaysian in 10 years to win a Moto3 race.
Elsewhere, it was a strong race for Joel Kelso and Scott Ogden who finished inside the top ten. Eddie O Shea and Casey O Gorman both crashed out.
