Qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix is set to be dry. Formula 1 drivers have had to battle a lot of wet-to-dry qualifying sessions during the 2023 Formula 1 season, but the event at Monza will not be added to that long list.
Rain has hit the last eight Grand Prix weekends, playing a major part on Saturday in Montreal, Spielberg and Silverstone. The Belgian Grand Prix lived up to its recent reputation with a mix of wet/dry conditions. Similar wet/dry conditions were experienced last time in The Netherlands, with a drying qualifying session where drivers and teams had to try and judge the perfect crossover point for the intermediate tyres.

What is the weather forecast for the Italian Grand Prix weekend?

According to weather.com, Saturday is predicted to be clear. There is a peak of 1% chance of rain during the afternoon, so something strange will have to happen if we see a wet track. Winds are predicted to be low, and the track will be covered in sunshine. Almost perfect conditions for the drivers to express their talents.
On Sunday, the temperature is predicted to be slightly warmer. Perhaps hitting 30c. Despite the warmer weather, cloud cover is expected, so maybe the track temperature won't rise significantly. There is just a 0% chance of rain on Sunday.
