Lance Stroll did not appear at the Zandvoort circuit today. The Aston Martin driver is skipping media commitments. The Canadian is recovering from an infection. The rest of the weekend is not in danger for Stroll.
An Aston Martin spokesman revealed: 'Lance is recovering from an infection and will therefore miss media duties today. He is fit and well and will compete at this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix.'
The British racing stable has sought and received permission from the FIA. Fernando Alonso's teammate was also due to appear in the press conference, but is thus absent.
