Mclaren hates low downforce at high temperatures claims Seidl

Andreas Seidl found time to speak to the press today, in which he reflected on the day's session and how it may not be going as well for McLaren as the timing chart shows.

Going into FP2 Seidl said he expected a "disappointing weekend" as "One thing our car (MCL 36) doesn't like at all, [and] that's little downforce at higher temperatures.", this is why the FP2 results of P4 for Britain's Lando Norris shouldn't be taken as a representative time "We simply don't have enough downforce available, then the tires overheat, especially when it's quite warm." he adds.

When looking ahead to Sunday's race there is little hope from the Mclaren man "simply not have the pace over the distance compared to the Alpines, who are our main opponent in the constructors' championship and who are very, very strong, especially on these tracks with this configuration."
