If he had to choose, Lando Norris prefers to race in dry conditions. The Briton also joked about McLaren's strategy decision that did not pay off last weekend in Malaysia.
So far this season, there have been two occasions when teams had to choose between slick and intermediate tyres. McLaren made the wrong call twice: in Montreal, they started on the inters, and at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, they opted for the slicks.
Norris also joked about what happened last Sunday when asked about the possibility of rain in Singapore. He began: "I think when you're on the right tyre, the wet's good. But I was leading the pack of the slick runners last weekend. Yeah, it was pretty cool. We were having our own little race."
He continued: "I don't know, I prefer dry, honestly, at the end of the day. I prefer the dry. I've still not really driven this car in the wet yet, especially on the inter tyres.
"So I don't mind, but it's a challenge. Every now and then a wet race is good fun, especially if it's kind of wet and dries out and you have this changeover, which we seem to have quite often in Formula 1. So I like both. I prefer the dry. It's just better."

Racing in the rain raises the challenge of Singapore
If drivers end up having to race in wet conditions this weekend, Norris highlighted that it is one of the most difficult things you could have in Formula 1. Thunderstorms are also expected over the next three days.
He explained: "It will be tough. I mean, street circuits, all street circuits are nasty when it's raining, especially because you have the white lines and the zebra crossings. All these different things make it a big challenge, and you just have no room for error.
"So I mean, Monaco, remember the wet race we did in Monaco? It's horrible how aware you have to be of everything and how easy it is to make a mistake. So probably one of the biggest challenges you can have are street circuits in the wet."
