Camouflage livery typical of morning for Alfa Romeo with only four laps
Alfa Romeo are experiencing some problems during the first day of testing in Barcelona. The team, which was the only one not yet to present a car for the 2022 Formula 1 season, only managed four laps in almost three hours.
At 8:00 AM UK time, the first day of the winter test in Barcelona began. No live footage, but it can be followed in full with the liveblog from GPblog. Max Verstappen made a good start of the day with already more than fifty laps and a place among the first five times by default. The fastest time at the time of writing is in the name of Charles Leclerc.
Problems at Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo is a notable absentee during the morning program. Robert Kubica will take charge of that morning, but with four laps and no time clocked yet, it seems there are some problems at the Italian team. According to Formula One journalist, Luke Smith, the team has let it be known that there are some minor problems, but that nothing crazy or bad is going on.
Just 4 laps on the board for Alfa Romeo so far today with Robert Kubica - team says there have been a few small issues but nothing unexpected, and is still following its run plan #F1

Alfa Romeo was the only one not yet to present a livery for the 2022 F1 season, so it will be seen in Barcelona in a camouflage livery. Valtteri Bottas, Guanyu Zhou and Robert Kubica also have matching suits, making it still a guess as to the team's new look.
Stand out from the crowd – go camouflage with the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN C42 limited edition livery range.
