Italian manufacturers dominate pre-season testing ahead of 2026 opener

The first week of full pre-season testing officially concluded today with some familiar faces near the top of the timing charts.

Much like Day 1 and 2, the third day was also split into two sessions, giving teams a total of almost eight hours of track time to make adjustments and experiment with different setups for their bikes.

The first session of the day was largely dominated by Ducati riders, putting Honda in check after Day 2's results will have left the Japanese manufacturer feeling very optimistic about the season ahead.

The second session was also much of the same as Ducati riders largely dominated the top half of the board, though there were signs of encouragement for the likes of Aprilia, KTM and Honda too.
