Marco Bezzecchi has extended his contract with Aprilia in a new multi-year deal which will see the Italian rider remain at the Noale-based outfit for the forseeable future.
Bezzecchi was one of the standout riders of 2025, adapting well on a new bike to carry the factory Aprilia team single-handedly to three wins and a further six podiums throughout the season.
It was a turbulent year for the team when their star signing Jorge Martin suffered a series of injuries in pre-season testing and missed the majority of the year after suffering further setbacks on his return.
Bezzecchi, who was very much considered the 'number two' rider at the start of the year by many, proved himself as a formidable and skillful rider in his own right, taking wins in Silverstone, Portimao and Valencia as well as sprint wins in San Marino, Mandalika and Australia's Philip Island.

Today Aprilia announced that 'Bez' would be extending his contract and racing for the team into the 2027 season, while speculation around his teammate's future remains uncertain.
In a comical and theatrical, and typically Italian, faux wedding ceremony, Bezzecchi officially tied the knot with his Aprilia bike after he proposed to her at the closing round of the season in Valencia.
Bezzecchi's post-race antics have become something of a trademark this season with his hilarious Silverstone stumble and carrying a wooden leg on a lap around San Marino in reference to the Italian comedy movie 'Three Men and a Leg'.
While Aprilia will surely be keen to retain a talent like Jorge Martin for the future, they can rest assured in the knowledge that a proven talent like Bezzecchi is now committed long-term to the project.
