MotoGP legend and fan-favourite Dani Pedrosa has weighed in on the rumours surrounding Pedro Acosta's potential move to Ducati for the 2027 season, calling it a 'good move' for the Italian manufacturer.
Pedrosa, known as the 'Little Samurai' for his fierce determination and fighting spirit, currently works as a test and development rider for Red Bull KTM and occasionally competes as a wild card for them when his services are required.
The former Honda rider was a regular title contender throughout his career and is largely considered to be 'the greatest rider to never win a title'.
From his perspective inside the KTM garage, Pedrosa has weighed in on the speculation that their star talent Pedro Acosta could be set to join Ducati in factory red for the 2027 season alongside reigning champion Marc Marquez.
In a recent interview with DAZN, Pedrosa said: "It’s the fastest market in recent memory; almost the entire grid will be set before the first day of testing."
"Not everyone is confirmed, but Ducati have made a good move."

With so many riders out of a contract at the end of the year, the grid could see a huge shake up as the sport also faces huge regulation changes including the reduction of 1000cc engines.
So far, only a handful of riders have their futures guarunteed, one being Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi who recently signed a new long-term deal with the Italian team.
Acosta's move to Ducati would likely force out Francesco Bagnaia, but fortunately there appear to be many other potential seats opening up as well.
While speculation surrounds Fabio Quartararo and a potential move to Honda from Yamaha, the Japanese manufacturers will have their eyes set on the likes of Bagnaia and Jorge Martin as potential replacements to the Frenchman.
Pedrosa's comments appear to confirm that Ducati, at least, are planning to act early and secure their signing ahead of the season opener in Buriram on 1 March.
