Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the kickoff of the 2026 MotoGP season. A grand launch event will bring riders and fans together in the city center for an event packed with entertainment and a preview of the new season. Special attention will be given to Marc Márquez, who dominated his ninth world title in 2025.

Both he and his younger brother Alex Marquez, who finished second in the championship, are also very popular in the country.

The riders will display their brand new GP26 bikes on the streets of the Malaysian capital in front of a large crowd of attending fans, in an event full of showcases, interviews and highlights as we anticipate the coming season.

The season launch is designed as a grand spectacle in the heart of the city, with shows, interviews, and a traditional motorcycle ride through the city with all the riders. Most of the MotoGP riders will be present. This gives fans the chance to see their favorite riders up close before the season really kicks off with the first Grand Prix in Buriram, Thailand, from February 27 to March 1.

The event will be broadcast live on Saturday, February 7 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM CET and can be followed live at the top of this article.
