LIVE: Qualifying for the British GP

Free practice is over and Formula 1 is preparing for the fourth qualifying session of the season. Mercedes showed their speed in FP33, but Max Verstappen followed closely in his Red Bull Racing Car. Who is going to get on pole? Find out in our liveblog below.

Valtteri Bottas managed to set the fastest time in the third free practice session. He drove a 1.25.873 and was 0.138 seconds faster than his teammate Lewis Hamilton. We find Verstappen in third place at 0.3 seconds.

The top nine were within a second of Bottas' fastest time, making for a very exciting for qualifying. But it's quite possible that Mercedes still have a lot more power to show. Hamilton, who has recorded six poles around Silverstone, hasn't topped the timesheets so far this weekend.

Alexander Albon was unlucky during the third free practice and a large part of it was in the pit lane. His battery has been replaced and is expected to participate in qualifying.
