LIVE | Formula 1 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix FP1 - Who will be on top?

How has that happened! It's the final race of the 2019 Formula 1 season. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will host this season's finale and it should be a very interesting race. Although Mercedes have already won the constructor's championship and Lewis Hamilton has already won the driver's championship, there is still plenty to race for.

It has been a fascinating Formula 1 season and although on paper Mercedes have dominated, Ferrari and Red Bull have looked competitive at most races. Teams will be using this morning's FP1 session to prepare for the first session of the final race of this year.

The Yas Marina Circuit is a demanding track for both the drivers and tyres and learning about setups and different tyres is essential for success on a Sunday.

Mercedes have performed well here in the past, securing a one-two finish at the 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. However, Red Bull Racing performed well last time out in Brazil and will be wanting to back up this performance with another race win.
