Red Bull Racing regrets firing Sergio Perez

Sergio Perez has spoken out about being released from Red Bull Racing after the 2024 season.
The Mexican was handed a contract extension after a promising start to the campaign. However, a drastic decline in results meant Perez was let go after the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The 35-year-old was asked if he believes Red Bull regrets the move to get rid of him, with Perez responding by saying, "I know that deep down they regret it. I have it from a very reliable source."

Verstappen told to reunite with Newey

Rumours surrounding Max Verstappen's future at Red Bull Racing will not go away.
After GPblog reported that the Dutchman would not be making the move to Mercedes, a move that had been heavily rumoured, there have also been links that the four-time world champion would join Adrian Newey at Aston Martin.
That is a move that six-time Grand Prix winner Riccardo Patrese believes should be made by the 27-year-old, rejoining the master designer at the British team.

Lindblad to join Verstappen in FP1 at Silverstone

Earlier, it was announced by Helmut Marko that Arvid Lindblad would be making his F2 debut at the British Grand Prix, taking part in FP1 at just 17 years of age, just weeks after acquiring his super license.
However, it was not announced by the 81-year-old advisor who Lindblad would be replacing behind the wheel of the RB21.
Now, it is believed that Yuki Tsunoda will be the one to give up his seat for the Formula 2 super-talent, with his first F1 session being at his home Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Arvid Lindblad currently sits P3 in his debut season in Formula 2, buoyed by a feature race win at the Spanish Grand Prix.
