Sergio Perez won the Singapore Grand Prix from second position. Poleman Charles Leclerc had a poor start and thus immediately lost the lead to the Mexican. However, Perez is not the only driver who drove a fantastic race. Who takes the title 'GPblog Driver of the Day' this week?
Perez was crowned Driver of the Day by global Formula 1 fans with his victory. The Red Bull Racing driver was too fast for Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Max Verstappen got no further than seventh position after a poor race from P8. The Dutchman looked to be on his way to the podium for a bit, but a mistake of his own caused him to lose a lot of time.

Double points McLaren and Aston Martin

It was not only Perez who impressed in Singapore. The McLaren and Aston Martin teams also scored well. Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo crossed the finish line fourth and fifth after an excellent strategy. The Australian even came back from 16th position. Aston Martin also took home double points with the performances of Lance Stroll (P6) and Sebastian Vettel (P8), moving the team up to P7 in the constructors' championship. Who did you think was the best driver in Singapore? Let us know in the poll and comments.
