Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll have to explain to the stewards their crash during FP2 in Portugal. The two men touched at Turn 1 and caused a red flag. The Red Bull Racing driver responded to the incident on Friday afternoon.
"I don't want to talk about it," Verstappen tells Sky Sports. "I was surprised that he just turned in while I was coming to him. I didn't know where to go. I was starting my lap and he had just finished his lap. It is a shame that we touched."

Verstappen satisfied with Pirelli

In the early stages of FP2 Verstappen and the rest of the field drove on a prototype tyre from Pirelli. The Dutchman says that he was happy with the new tyres. "I had two runs and one set felt better than the other one and it felt nice. If I compare the first to the second, the second was nicer to drive. I have nothing negative to say about it," the nine-time Grand Prix winner concludes.
