One team did it better than Red Bull in pit lane Miami

Red Bull Racing's weekend could not have been much better. Max Verstappen took victory as well as capturing the extra World Cup point for the fastest lap of the race, while Sergio Perez crossed the line in second place. Only in the pit lane did the Austrian formation not take the full prize.

Every weekend, the fastest pit stops are ranked among each other by DHL. Whereas Red Bull proved the fastest formation in Azerbaijan last weekend, that honour now fell to Ferrari. Carlos Sainz's four tyres were changed in a mere 2.21 seconds. In doing so, the Italian pit crew was six hundredths faster than Red Bull.

As a result, and also thanks to sixth place with Charles Leclerc, Ferrari took the most points in the United States for the pitstop championship. Red Bull stuck to eighteen points scored. Ferrari leads the 2023 rankings with 136 points, Red Bull follows on 117 points. Alpine is number three with 76 points.
