IndyCar Qualifying Results: Will Power secures pole position

Will Power grabbed the pole position. Rinus Veekay was unable to repeat his trick of the Alabama Grand Prix at the Indy Road Course for the GMR Grand Prix. The Dutchman will start the fifth race of the IndyCar Championship from the fifteenth position.

Championship contenders Power and Alex Palou did better. Power gets to start from pole for the 64th time in his IndyCar career and reigning champion Palou will be next to him on the starting grid.

Rookie and Ferrari talent Callum Ilott enjoyed his best qualifying so far in IndyCar. The young Briton will start the race from P7. The best of the former F1 drivers was Romain Grosjean. The Frenchman can be found in tenth position.
