Lewis Hamilton recorded the fastest time in Turkey. He will have to start from eleventh place when the lights go out due to a grid penalty. Valtteri Bottas, therefore, moves up to P1, while next to him he sees Max Verstappen.
Sergio Perez looked set to qualify in fourth place, but Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso all proved slightly faster. The entire top-nine will start on mediums. Only Tsunoda will have to start on softs in the Grand Prix at Istanbul Park.
