The second free practice for the Spanish Grand Prix is over and it was Lewis Hamilton who set the fastest time on the Barcelona circuit. Surprisingly, the third spot did not go to Max Verstappen or Sergio Perez, but to Ferrari. Charles Leclerc was on the pace and only had to give up a little less than two tenths on Hamilton.

Verstappen is ninth, one place ahead of his teammate Sergio Perez. Because of a small slip in the last sector of his fast lap, the Dutchman abandoned his lap. Unfortunately, there was no time left for another quick run, as the long runs were also on the program.

Alpine looks very strong with a P4 and a P5. Behind them, we see the men of AlphaTauri. It promises to be a great battle on Saturday and Sunday in Catalonia.
