Rafael Camara won the feature race of the Formula 2 Belgian Grand Prix. Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov completed the podium. After Alex Dunne's penalty was applied, the Bulgarian finished third, two positions ahead of his championship rival Gabriele Mini. Thanks to this result, he now leads the Italian by 27 points in the drivers' standings.
How the Formula 2 Belgian Grand Prix Feature Race unfolded
The race, which kicked off with Camara in the Invicta on pole ahead of Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak in the ART, would soon unfold in quite a manner, prompting an early Safety Car.
Gabriele Minì suffered damage to his car following a collision with Roman Bilinski, Oliver Goethe stalled as he approached Eau Rouge, Dino Beganovic suffered a clutch problem with his car and was wheeled back to the pit lane, and Sebastian Montoya collided with PREMA teammate Mari Boya, warranting a front wing change.
The Safety Car period ended shortly afterwards, albeit without any less action on the restart. This time, championship leader Nikola Tsolov was involved in a brief incident with Camara, who had lost first place to Inthraphuvasak. The incident forced Tsolov to lose a couple more positions, dropping to fifth as he took evasive action to avoid an abrupt end to his race.

The Feature Race was no less chaotic, and the stewards handed out the first penalty of the race to Minì, who received a five-second penalty for causing a collision. While the chaos continued to unfold, Camara regained the race lead.
The Scuderia
Ferrari junior driver made a move with the aid of DRS on Inthraphuvasak to reclaim first place. Camara’s teammate, Joshua Durksen, who
claimed victory at the Sprint race at Spa, would soon sail past the ART driver to storm into second place.
A sequence of pit stops followed as drivers on the supersoft tyres flooded into the pits to switch to the medium compound. Meanwhile, Inthraphuvasak continued to fall down the order and, following his pit stop, lost a place to Alex Dunne in the Alpine-coloured Rodin car.
The race was soon interrupted by a yellow flag, with Laurens van Hoepen suffering a massive shunt on lap nine. The Dutch driver ran wide over the outside kerb at Turn 7, Malmedy, and, in his own words, "completely destroyed the car." The Dutch driver's incident prompted a red flag, with there being too much debris on the track to clear quickly.
Under the red flag, the Campos Racing team would make changes to the front wing of Tsolov’s car, with the Bulgarian noticeably struggling following his earlier incident with Camara.
The race resumed after a lengthy delay with a rolling start. However, it was switched to a 24-minute timed race instead of the originally scheduled 25-lap distance. Durksen would lead the field to green ahead of Nicolas Varrone
After the restart, AIX Racing's Fittipaldi ended up in the gravel trap, bringing out another Safety Car. Once everyone had completed their pit stops, Camara led ahead of Dunne and Leon.
During the final minutes of the feature race, the stewards began handing out penalties for track limits. Dunne and Leon were both penalized, which meant that Inthraphuvasak and Tsolov completed the podium behind the Invicta Racing driver.
