GPblog brings you it's round up of the two best F1 stories of today, Tuesday 25 November 2025. Oscar Piastri questioned the FIA Stewards’ handling of the Las Vegas Grand Prix start. After qualifying in fifth place, a difficult race fightback race awaited him as he attempted to chase his teammate who'd qualified on pole.
At Turn 1, he was hit by Liam Lawson who tried to avoid a collision with George Russell. The contact pushed him from fifth to eighth.
Piastri said he felt he was one of the only drivers who braked to make the corner and that he was barged out of the way, criticising the Stewards for not issuing a penalty.
Despite the setback, he recovered to fourth place by the end. Although his efforts and his result would eventually become futile after he and teammate Norris were both disqualified from the race in Nevada.
Max Verstappen reaffirmed past comments he made about
Lando Norris and his championship potential. He said there was nothing he lied about regarding earlier statements.
Verstappen explained that recent race weekends had come together well and noted differences compared to the previous season. After winning the Las Vegas Grand Prix, he reduced the points gap to 24 heading into the final two rounds.
He added each season brings growth from past mistakes and that this applies generally, before referencing remarks he made after the 2024 season, when he said Norris could become a world champion, confirming that what he said at the time still stands, adding that progress can require patience and waiting for the right moment, citing the current season as evidence.
