Audi develops 2027 and 2028 F1 cars, as 2026 project stopped

CTO (Chief Technology Officer) Stefan Dreyer has said that the 2026 drivetrain development has been completed and that the limited data gathered from Sauber - soon to transform into Audi - coupled with the 2026 regulations - has helped the German team switch its focus well beyond nex year.
Recently the team's COO (Chief Operating Officer) and CTO (Chief Technical Officer) outlined the two key factors that would determine next year's lasting pecking order. You can read his full comments here.

Hamilton branded the next Schumacher

Former Ferrari stalwart, ex-mechanic Francesco Cigarini, urged the Scuderia to listen more to Lewis Hamilton's input. His feedback, comprising years of inside knowledge as to how winning teams such as McLaren and Mercedes work, given their organisational approach and their structures, very different to Ferrari's, would ultimately help the team.
The ex-Ferrari man also argued that even if the results are yet to come, the Maranello-based outfit would be wise to take in Hamilton's car feedback. Given what Cigarini interprets as Hamilton needing a 'more solid car', the Italian claims that if the team listens to Hamilton more, his teammate Charles Leclerc -whom Cigarini thinks always drives 'on egg shells - would also benefit from the resulting car.
