You’ll keep an eye on all the latest F1 news and also monitor social media channels closely and think strategically about what content to create during a Grand Prix weekend.

We're looking for writers who are fluent in English, who know the difference between a C1 and a C5 compound, and you can probably list every drivers' racing number.!

Due to the scheduling of the races, GPblog operates with irregular hours, so occasional working of mornings, evenings and weekends will be required.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re passionate about Formula 1
  • You’re flexible, independent, and proactive
  • You’re available to work evenings and weekends
  • You strive to be the fastest and spot creative content ideas
  • You can handle tight deadlines
  • You’re experienced with Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram
  • You’re ambitious and always eager to improve

What we offer:

  • A dynamic working atmosphere with great colleagues
  • Flexibility to fit in around other jobs or study schedules
  • Experience and F1 contacts that can help shape your journalistic career
  • Competitive freelance renumeration
  • Tonnes of room for creativity and personal input
  • An independent, exciting freelance position to help build your portfolio

Are you a motorsport fan with deep knowledge of MotoGP and a talent for turning passion into powerful stories? GPblog is looking for a freelance writer to cover the latest MotoGP news, bringing sharp, reliable and engaging content to our readers.

The job:

  • Follow MotoGP news closely and write and publish news stories, reactions and evergreen features.
  • Write analysis pieces, race and qualifying reports, and short features.
  • Monitor international sources (teams, riders, social media, sports media) and turn stories into original content.
  • Work independently and set priorities and angles within GPblog’s editorial style.
  • Be available during race weekends and work well under pressure.

About you:

  • You have proven passion for MotoGP and strong knowledge of the championship, riders and storylines.
  • You have experience in writing or journalism.
  • You write clearly, quickly and accurately, with a strong sense of what makes news.
  • You are self-driven, reliable and comfortable working evenings or weekends.

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to create MotoGP content for a large international motorsport audience.
  • Flexible collaboration with room for creativity and initiative.
  • A young, ambitious team that shares your passion for motorsport.
  • Competitive pay structure.
  • The opportunity to build a portfolio of excellent content.
  • Access to leading contacts in MotoGP to help build your contacts' book.

Freelance Social Media Editor

We’re also looking for a freelance social media editor who’s passionate about social media and experienced with design and video editing. You’ll join GPblog’s social media team and work closely with our editorial departments across both English and Dutch editions.
Your weekly hours are flexible and open for discussion. However, availability on at least one race weekend day is required.

The job:

  • Writing and editing social media posts that match GPblog’s tone and voice
  • Editing and producing video content for GPblog’s channels
  • Contributing creative ideas for formats, designs, and video content
  • Monitoring F1 news and quickly creating relevant, engaging content
  • Engaging with the community via comments, polls, Q&As, etc.
  • Collaborating with the editorial team and the international social team

  • No problem working evenings and weekends
  • Strong affinity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Figma and/or similar tools
  • Able to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines

What we offer:

  • A dynamic working atmosphere with friendly colleagues
  • Competitive freelance hourly rate
  • Plenty of room for creativity and input
