BREAKING: Ricciardo has broken wrist and will be replaced by Lawson

Daniel Ricciardo fractured his wrist during the second free practice session at Zandvoort. He will not be able to continue the weekend, and Liam Lawson will be his replacement for AlphaTauri on Saturday and Sunday on the Dutch coast.

After the Australian crashed, it was almost immediately clear that something was wrong. Ricciardo immediately reported over the team radio that his wrist was bothering him. It was easy to see that the driver still had both hands on the wheel at the moment he crashed into the wall.
