Mazepin knows exactly what he wants: "Steering wheel a little higher"

Nikita Mazepin visited the Haas factory this week to have his seat fitted. The video the team put on Youtube gives a good and honest impression of what it is like. We also get to know Mazepin a little.

What is particularly striking about these images is how much personal input Mazepin has in fitting his seat. He knows exactly what he wants. The steering wheel needs to be a little bit higher and the pedals need to be a little bit further apart so that his heels don't touch.

In his interaction with the team, he goes on to say that he has noticed that people in Britain all call him 'Maz'. An affectionate nickname that he finds odd. You can tell by Nikita's accent that he has spent more time in England over the years.
