Max Verstappen successfully defended his lead from Lewis Hamilton at the restart of the Mexican Grand Prix, keeping the Ferrari driver behind as the race resumed.
However, the Red Bull driver subsequently came under scrutiny for a potential false start, with the stewards reviewing whether his car was out of position on the grid.
On lap 51, Race Control confirmed that the incident involving the Dutchman had been reviewed, with the stewards deciding that no further investigation was necessary. Verstappen therefore escaped any punishment and retained his lead over Hamilton.
