Back-to-back red flags in Singapore: Lawson hits the wall!

Minutes after the session could resume in Singapore, Liam Lawson caused a second red flag in FP2.

After George Russell's incident, FP2 resumed at 21:29 local time.

With drivers also began fitting the soft tyres at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Liam Lawson was also on a fast lap when he hit the wall in the penultimate corner.

The Racing Bulls driver had to stop his car on the pit entry, and as a result, the red flag was waved for the second time this afternoon.
