George Russell has crashed 17 minutes into FP2 at the Singapore Grand Prix.
"That was weird. Yeah (I'm alright)."
- Russell over the team radio
Russell caused the first red flag of the weekend in Singapore. On a fast lap, the Briton lost control over the back of his car in Turn 16, and was headed for the barrier.
Luckily for Russell, he could back out, and bring the car back to the pit lane. The debris left on track caused the red flag.
He said over the team radio: "That was weird. Yeah (I'm alright)."
Russell's session ended with the incident, with the team focusing on repairing his car.
The session will resume at 21:29 local time (14:29 BST).
