The 20 Formula 1 drivers are ready to join the circuit for the one-hour FP2 session at the Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore. Follow the action with the live blog on GPBlog.
This track is one of the more physically demanding on the calendar and was declared a 'heat hazard' race before the weekend.
A heat hazard has been declared because temperatures are anticipated to exceed 31 °C, allowing drivers to wear a cooling vest during the race.
The second practice session may have a more specific focus than in FP1, with both qualifying simulations and race runs over the 60 minutes.
McLaren can win the Constructors' Championship this weekend, and Mercedes needs to outscore them by 31 points to keep their title hopes alive.
Ferrari are also in mathematical contention but must outscore McLaren by 35 points with just 43 available in Singapore.
The highly anticipated session will start at 15:00 CET as we learn more about the pecking order ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

Full Singapore GP schedule

The Singapore Grand Prix weekend does not have a Sprint race, so there will be two practice sessions on Friday. These will be followed by qualifying on Saturday and the 62-lap Grand Prix on Sunday.
