Audi has announced its plans to enter F1 as an engine supplier from 2026. Although plans are now only for the engine, the team is already presenting a demo car on the track and in a video.

Audi makes its appearance

In a new video, Audi Sport presents an F1 car with Audi's livery. 'More rings for the four rings' opens the video with a reference to the German brand's logo. Audi announced on Friday morning that it was entering Formula 1 as an engine supplier, but it has clearly been thinking a few steps ahead.
The brand is working with several F1 teams and is reportedly the closest to an agreement with Sauber. That team could take over Audi for a large part, which would make such a livery change really possible. Whether this will actually be the livery for the Audi F1 car in 2026 remains to be seen.
