A karting expert since the age of ten, Pierre Gasly is one of the hottest properties in Formula One right now. After becoming Red Bull’s reserve driver at the end of 2015, the Frenchman won the GP2 championship in 2016 over the likes of Antonio Giovinazzi, putting himself on the map for F1 teams. Gasly made his debut in F1 at the Malaysian Grand Prix, replacing the struggling Daniil Kvyat for the rest of the season, apart from the American Grand Prix as it clashed with a Super Formula race he had. In 2019, the Frenchman will partner up with Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing as Daniel Ricciardo is leaving the team, making him and Verstappen the youngest line-up on next year’s grid.
