It is well known that Alexander Albon and Daniil Kvyat are under pressure at Red Bull and Toro Rosso respectively, but Pierre Gasly's isn't as secure as it may seem. The Frenchman seems to be arguing internally and looking at other teams.
This year's Silly Season is more exciting than ever. Lewis Hamilton has still not renewed his contract with Mercedes and in midfield, there is big changes with Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo all moving to a different team. Behind that there are plenty of candidates for the last seats at the smaller teams as well.

Changes at Red Bull

However, Red Bull generally have a different approach. Alpha Tauri gets the best talents from the junior programme to give them a chance in Formula 1 and at Red Bull Racing the best drivers are put down to race for the world title. Albon has been under increasing scrutiny and many feel he won't be in a Red Bull next season.
The same goes for Kvyat, with Yuki Tsunoda who is hotly tipped to take on a seat at Alpha Tauri despite Honda's departure. Kvyat has struggled compared to Gasly, who has a victory at Monza to his name.

Gasly away from Red Bull?

However, Gasly's future may not be as certain as it seems. According to the Swiss Blick.ch, the Frenchman is looking for a place on another team. Gasly would like to go to Renault, which would also like to listen to the Frenchman.
In 2021 Fernando Alonso will drive for Renault and Esteban Ocon is also contracted for 2021. However, Sergio Perez's situation has shown how little contracts are worth and Renault might not pass on the opportunity if they really wanted Gasly. So the Silly Season is far from over and there are still a number of surprises lurking.
