Zak Brown wins a tour of the Red Bull factory

Snooping or just donating to a great cause? Zak Brown won a tour of the Red Bull garage as Adrian Newey offered up a tour as part of a charity auction.

Brown and Newey have been rivals on the calendar in 2019 as McLaren and Red Bull finished fourth and third in the Constructors' Championship respectively. McLaren exceeded expectations last season, as their new partnership of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris led them to best of the rest. Meanwhile, Red Bull finished third in the Constructors' Championship despite Max Verstappen finishing third in the drivers' equivalent.

McLaren and Brown appear to have taken to new levels to breach the gap between themselves and the top three. During a charity auction for The Halow Project, Newey offered a tour of the Red Bull factory, only for the McLaren CEO to be the highest bidder.

It's all for a good cause none the less and we'll wait and see whether Brown takes up Newey on the tour.
