Victor Martins will serve as Williams' reserve driver at the Canadian Grand Prix, the team confirmed. Meanwhile, Luke Browning is set to race in Suzuka this weekend.
The French driver joined the Williams Driver Academy during the 2025 season while competing in the Formula 2 Championship. For the 2026 campaign, he was promoted to the role of the team's test and development driver.

Martins replaces Browning in Montreal

Martins competes for Alpine in the 2026 World Endurance Championship, unlike Browning, who races in the Super Formula series. As the Japanese championship travels to Suzuka this weekend, Martins will step in as Williams' reserve driver in Canada. Last year, the Frenchman first took part in a single free practice session for the Grove-based team at the Spanish Grand Prix.
