Who is David Bearman?

This season F2 driver Oliver Bearman made his F1 race debut after replacing Carlos Sainz in Saudi Arabia when the Ferrari driver had his appendix removed. However, during the race Bearman's dad David became an online sensation for his reaction to his son's performance. So, who is David Bearman?

David Bearman is the founder and chief executive officer for the insurance firm Aventum Group. He developed the company at 18-years-old in 1996, under the name Direct Insurance. He is also the chairman of Rokstone Group, and CEO of Consilium.

In addition to his son Oliver, David also has another two children. Oliver Bearman currently drives for Prema in F2, and is the reserve driver for two F1 teams: Ferrari and Haas. Like Oliver, his son Thomas is looking to pursue a career in motorsports and is currently competing in karting races across Europe. His daughter, Amelie, is a keen showjumper and competes across the UK.

David also became an internet sensation during his son's F1 debut, with one video in particular proving popular on X (foremerly Twitter).
