We won't see this talent in 2021: 'I'm not going to Formula 1'

Last weekend Juri Vips was a reserve driver for Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri in Turkey. Moreover, he now has his super license in his pocket. However, he says he is not a candidate to enter Formula 1 in 2021. However, obtaining his super licence now already has its advantages. "With the super license the pressure will be much less next year," said the 20-year old driver. "I will be in Formula 2 next year. In recent years I had to be in certain places in the racing classes to get points for the super licence, but now I finally have it". Vips is expected to drive for Hitech on behalf of Red Bull next year with Liam Lawson as team mate.
