After getting a very controversial five-second penalty during the Canadian Grand Prix for blocking Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari star Sebastian Vettel has been hit with two penalty points as well on his racing licence.
Insult to injury for Vettel. The German lost control of his SF90 at turn 4 and went onto the grass, before returning to the track at the chicane's exit. Hamilton, who was right behind him, had to brake hard to avoid a collision.
Vettel got a five-second penalty for the incident, effectively costing him the win as Hamilton finished right behind him, but has now also received two penalty points on his racing licence.
